VMaxCountdown Applet

< >

Example as used above:

<table BORDER CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 >
<tr>
<td><img SRC="vmaxcountdowntop.gif" ><br>
<applet CODE=vmaxcountdown.class WIDTH=135 HEIGHT=20
><param name="BGCOLOR"    VALUE="000080"
><param name="TEXTCOLOR"  VALUE="ffff00"
><param name="COUNT_TO"   VALUE="1 Jan 2005 00:00:00"
><param name="AUTHOR"     VALUE="Virtual_Max (http://come.to/vmax)"
><param name="KEY"        VALUE="Free Version"
><param name="URL"        VALUE="some.html"
><param name="TARGET"     VALUE="_self"
></applet></td>
</tr>
</table>

Both Colors are the same as HTML hexadecimal colors (rrggbb) but without # radix symbol

COUNT_TO  is countdown date, exactly the same as java.util.Date(String) accepts. It accepts many syntaxes; in particular, it recognizes the IETF standard date syntax: "Sat, 12 Aug 1995 13:30:00 GMT". It also understands the continental U.S. time-zone abbreviations, but for general use, a time-zone offset should be used: "Sat, 12 Aug 1995 13:30:00 GMT+0430" (4 hours, 30 minutes west of the Greenwich meridian). If no time zone is specified, the client local time zone is assumed. GMT and UTC are considered equivalent.

URL and TARGET are optional link parameters, can be omited. The URL will work only for the registered version of applet. Applet with KEY "Free Version" will link back to Virtual_Max's Cafe

AUTHOR and KEY are required parameters. Don't alter value of AUTHOR parameter.
Applet can be used absolutely free with KEY "Free Version" or you can register it. Registered users will receive KEY which will unlock applet and will remove link back to my site.
